Entrepreneurship

The Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary defines an entrepreneur as "one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risk of a business or enterprise."  The word comes from the French word entreprendre, which means to undertake. A closely related term is intrapreneur, defined as "a corporate executive who develops new enterprises within the corporation."
