Who can use the MTC Library?

Anyone can use the library, but only faculty, staff or student of Midlands Technical College can check out books and laptops. 

Do I need a library card?

No. Show your MTC I.D. card or another picture ID, such as your driver's license to the library staff member checking out your books.

What do I do when the book or journal I'm looking for is not on the shelf?

The best thing to do is ask for help from a library staff member. Sometimes books and journals get shelved wrong. Also, look at the library catalog to be sure that the book or journal is not on the opposite campus.

Can I order books from the other campus?

Yes. Give a library staff member the call number and title of the items you want. It usually takes at least 24 hours for an item to be delivered.
